==============================================

Like the Mission statement says
" A Grassroots Organization"
That means we are doing this on our own and it has not been easy.  We believe it is very much worth it. But, we do need you, our neighbors to help us spread the word.
By you signing the guestbook it shows how excited we are to have a Farmers Market in your community.

HELP!
The Dixie Lee Farmers' Market
is currently looking for more Local Farmers and growers who wish to sell at the market. Anyone interested in participating should please fill out an information request form, by clicking the Farmers Information link below for more details.

Thank you for starting the farm market, I really missed being able to buy fresh veggies and fruit like I did back home in Rochester, N.Y. I only have one comment, could all the vendors post their prices? I, like many others, like to "shop and compare", especially today when everything is so expensive. Thanks again-great job!!!!!

STOP the music! The music itself is fine--I liked it--BUT but I came to your website to do research for a story to publicize local farmers' markets, not to be entertained. It's really hard to read & work & concentrate with the music going. I almost went away & didn't include you in the story--except that I really wanted to include this market. PS: I say this to every business I encounter that plays music while I'm trying to do research. Yes I can "mute" you, but I shouldn't have to. My 2 cents worth. PS: Story will air on the style show on WBIR on Wednesday, July 30 4-5 p.m.

I've lived here for 3 years and originally from Nashville where we had a fantastic Farmers Market. May yours be as successful so you can expand your hours as time goes by. I'll be there on Saturday.

I decided to visit the webste this evening to see if anyone was aware of how much the Dixie Lee Farmers Market has been donating to the Food Bank downtown. It was nice to see the Props given. I was there this past Sat and saw the huge amount they were taking to them. I'm proud to have such a thing in my community. Thanks Ann

Thank you, DIxie Lee Farmer's Market, for your recent donations of fresh vegetables. This nutritious food has been distributed to local families in need from our food relief pantry located at 122 W. Scott Ave., Knoxville.
